Short Story two: How a family became more punctual

Once upon a time, there was a family of four - a mom, a dad, and two kids. They were usually very punctual and always made sure to be on time for their commitments and appointments. One day, the family had an important doctor's appointment scheduled for 10am. However, on that particular day, the kids dawdled and took their time getting ready. By the time they were all ready to leave, it was already 9:55am. The mom and dad rushed out to the car, trying to make it to the doctor's office on time, while the kids lagged behind. When they arrived at the doctor's office, they found that the doctor had already left for lunch. The family had missed their appointment. They were all very disappointed in themselves for not being punctual. The mom and dad decided that from that day on, they would make punctuality a priority. Each morning, they would set an alarm clock to make sure they all got up on time. To make it fun, they also bought a timer, which they would set each day to give them a set amount of time to get ready. The kids loved this new system and soon found that they were able to get ready on time each day. After a few weeks of this, the family was back to being punctual and even arrived early for the next doctor's appointment. The moral of the story is that punctuality is important and that it pays off to make it a priority.
