Short Stories for Kids on Punctuality and Respecting Time

Short Story One - Punctuality is essential to not miss out on things

Once there lived a boy named Adhil. He was a cheerful boy. But, he always had his own rules. He was not so obedient to his teachers and also parents. One day, he had been to a trip with his parents to Kerala. Kerala is famous for it’s hill stations, greenery and beaches. It was a one -week long trip. They had plans to visit many places. Adhil was excited . He had taken his camara and mobile with him. He used to ask the driver to stop the car where ever he wanted and spend a lot of time clicking pictures or calling his friends. He used to not adhere to the time either. On the fourth day of their trip, they had to visit a beach for sunset. Adhil’s parents warned him in the morning itself, to keep up the time as they had to travel a long distance. But as usual, he wasted time. With all the stops and breaks he wanted to have in between the journey, they reached late to the beach. The beach was crowded. By the time they got down to the beach it was too late. They missed the sunset!

Moral of the Story:

When we are in a group, we should be one among them! we cannot have our wish list. We should consider others and make sure that we are not disturbing others. Also, adhering to timelines is very important.
