This is the tale of the powerful God Hanuman. Hanuman, the wind god Vayu's son from Anjana Devi. Another name for Hanuman is Aanjaneya, son of Anjana. When Hanuman was younger, he was full of mischief. He was always busy playing and moving around. He therefore had a really good appetite as well. Anything appetizing and within his grasp would go to his plate.
Anjana Devi went outside every day an hour before dawn to gather fruits and flowers. Hanuman was usually asleep at that time. Thus, she would leave him off at home and come back before he awoke.
One day, She got stuck on her way back . At the regular time, Hanuman awoke. He was quite hungry. He cried, "Ma, I'm hungry," to his mother.
"Where are you, Ma?" he exclaimed loudly. There was no response
He decided to find food after failing to find his mom. He walked done and looked eastward and saw a red ball. It was a considerable distance away. It was the sun going down/
Hanuman saw the scene. It was exquisite. The early darkness illuminated the entire sky, making the sun appear like a large, ripe fruit. Hanuman flew up to grab the crimson sun because he believed it to be a fruit. Despite getting sunburns on his face, Hanuman persisted in his flight towards the sun, driven by determination. The Lord of Heaven, Indra, was afraid that the sun might be captured.
So he used his awful weapon, the Vajrayudha, to strike Hanuman. Hanuman was harmed when he fell. His cheeks filled with fluid. For this reason, he was given the name Hanuman. In Sanskrit, "Hanu" signifies the cheek.
Hanuman's father, The wind god Vayu noticed Hanuman was hurt. He also witnessed Lord Indra get the weapon back. He grabbed Hanuman and dashed into the patalaloka, the realm beneath the earth's surface. There was no air in the world when the wind god departed from it. As they began to run out of air, people, animals, and trees began to perish.
Afterwards, the Wind God was comforted by all the gods. Every god bestowed a blessing to the young Hanuman. The Creator, Brahma, declared, "This boy cannot be killed by any weapon." "You will be a Chiranjeevi" (immortal), Indra told the youngster.
Thanks to the gods' blessing, Hanuman grew up to be just as powerful as his father. He was really mischievous and flew around just as freely.
Hanumanji developed a deep devotion to Sri Rama and focused all of his energies on worshiping the Lord. As everyone is aware, he became incredibly famous and is now worshiped for his unwavering devotion to Sri Rama. when He departed to return to Vaikuntha, Hanuman was urged by Sri Rama to stay in this world and keep chanting the Rama Nama so that the world might benefit from it . And to this day, Chiranjeevi Hanuman still does that!
