The Ant and the Grasshopper

Once there was a grasshopper and he never liked to work hard. He was very frivolous and spent his time enjoying on the banks of the river . There was also and ant that lived in the same area . The ant, on the other hand, was sincere and hardworking. 

 

Winter was coming and food would be scarce. The ant started working hard to store food for the winter. The grasshopper was busy playing and never bothered to save food for the winter. In fact he even used to make fun of the ant for working hard. 

Soon winter came. Now, the ant had enough food and he could enjoy the food. The grasshopper on the contrary could not find food anywhere. He asked the ant to share the food, but the ant refused saying that he cannot help because he had just about enough for himself. The grasshopper starved and became very weak that winter. From that year on he became serious and started saving food

Moral of the story:

We must always work hard. Winter is coming. What this means is that we must work hard when we can so that when times become tough, we will have enough to tide us through the tough times

The Tortoise and the Hare:

The hare and tortoise were friends. The hare used to always show off saying that he was very fast and used to tease the tortoise for his slow walk. 

One day, the tortoise had had enough and challenged the hare for a race. The hare burst out laughing, but agreed for a long race. 

In the race, the hare started very fast and the tortoise started at a slow pace. In the middle of the race, the hare saw that the tortoise was way behind and decided to take a small nap.The tortoise on the contrary moved slowly and steadily and crossed the place where the hare was taking a nap.After a while, the tortoise reached the finish line also.

The hare woke up from his deep sleep. He saw the tortoise nowhere to be seen and he imagined that the tortoise had not crossed. He dashed to the finish line and to his utter shock saw that the tortoise had won the race. He never again teased the tortoise

Moral of the story:

The important character that the tortoise had but the hare did not was consistency. He was consistent and that's why he was able to win the long race, In life too, if we are consistent we will win in the long term

The wild boar’s sharp teeth

In the forest lived a wild boar. He was a short fellow and was not very strong. The boar was always sharpening his teeth. He would rub his teeth on the trees and keep sharpening them

 He had a sparrow friend.  The sparrow had seen this behaviour of the wild boar for a long time. He asked the boar as to why he was always sharpening the teeth. The boar said to be safe. The sparrow laughed at him and said, we are already safe.

One day as usual the boar was sharpening his teeth when a fox sprang at him with the intention of hunting him. The boar used his sharp teeth to tear the fox’s skin.  The fox ran away in pain and never again attacked the boar.

The sparrow was impressed and understood why the boar was always working hard on sharpening his teeth

Moral of the Story:

The moral of the story is that we must work hard and be prepared so that we can face any aituation
