Short Story - Harry the horse!
Once upon a time in a stable, there were around 5-6 horses. They were living together for a long time. They were very good friends. everyday their master would take them to do different work. At the evening all of them would meet, eat together and chit chat about the day and then go to sleep
Among those horses, there was one horse by name Harry. He was a fine, tall, black, horse. He was the most beautiful horse in the stable. One day, a friend of a master who had come to visit him, happened to see Harry. He was a rich friend and lived in a palace. He fell in love with him and asked the master if he could buy that horse and take it with him to the palace. The master thought for a while and then agreed. This made all the horses very angry. They had not expected that their master would separate them from each other.
Harry was even more furious. He never wanted that to happen. But, helplessly he was taken away to the palace. The stable there, was very cosy and good. Each horse had separate water points and food area. For the charm that Harry carried, it did not take a long time for him to be loved by everyone there. The queen herself loved Harry so much. Harry slowly began to adapt himself to this environment. But, the memories of his old friends always made him yearn to meet them.
One day, when Harry was eating his food, he saw his friends walking towards him. He could not believe his eyes. He was overjoyed to see them all. They all had come with the old master. They ran to Harry, and greeted him.. They expressed their love and greeted him. It was Harry’s birthday! Harry’s eyes were filled with tears of joy. He also introduced them to his new friends and all of them together celebrated Harry’s birthday. Harry had a wonderful birthday, he also realised that there is no boundary for friendship.
Moral of the Story:
This is a heart warming tale of separation, longing and frienship. A slice of life story
