7 refreshing and healthy summer drinks for kids

Kids should remain hydrated during the summer when the sun is shining brightly and the temperature is rising.  Fluid consumption is necessary for both outdoor and indoor pursuits. Children should avoid artificially flavored beverages during hot summer days in favor of healthy summer drinks.

Children's Refreshing Summer Drinks - These beverages are ideal for quenching your hunger this summer.

1. Lime Water for Refreshment -  Your toddlers will undoubtedly enjoy a pitcher of Refreshing Lime Water.

You'll Need:


- 1 cup lime juice, newly squeezed( Approximately 5 limes)
- ten glasses water
- Ice
- Mint stems, fresh
- Lime slices

Recipe

- Remove the seeds from the limes and squeeze the liquid. Combine with cold water. Garnish the cocktail with lime slices and mint sprigs.
- Lime ice crystals can also be made by freezing the juice in ice cube trays. Put the frozen cube in a tumbler of water.

2. Punch Pink Lemonade - This drink is ideal for princess or birthday parties, baby showers, and even ladies night out.

-You'll need a can of chilled pink lemonade concentrate.
- 5 glasses cocktail of white cranberry juice
- 5 tablespoons lemon juice
-chilled lime soda -fresh mint stems

Recipe:

- In a large pitcher, combine the pink lemonade concentrate and cranberry juice drink.
- Cover and chill the container.
- When ready to serve, stir in the lemon-lime seltzer.
- Garnish with fresh mint if desired.

3. Cherry Limeade -  You should certainly make this drink for your kids during the summer because it is very refreshing and very simple to make.

You'll Need:

- 2 ounces frozen cherries (thawed)
- 1 cup raw lime juice
 - 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups water

Recipe:

- Blend the cherries and lime juice until smooth.
- In a medium saucepan, bring the cherry
- lime combination, a cup of water, and sugar to a low boil. Constantly stir.
- Refrigerate after straining. Serve over ice with three more glasses of water.

4. Soda with Cherry Basil - This is a refreshing summer drink prepared with sparkling water, basil, and fresh cherries.

You'll Need:

 

- 2 cups cherries
- 1/3 cup sugar + 2
- 3 tablespoons water
- 4 very small basil leaves
- 1 large bottle sparkling water

Recipe:

- In a small saucepan, bring the cherries, sugar, and water to a boil.
- Simmer the cherries for 5-7 minutes on medium heat, or until soft. It should be crushed with a spatula.
- Squeeze the cherry syrup into a small dish using a sieve.
- Place in the freezer until the syrup is cold.
- When they're cool enough to handle, pour 4 teaspoons of the cherry syrup into each glass.
- Using a wooden spoon, gently muddle one tiny basil leaf in each glass.
- Fill the cups halfway with sparkling water and ice.
- Stir the concoction with a spoon and garnish with cherries.

5. Sangria de Citrus - This immune-boosting non-alcoholic drink is delicious and simple to prepare.


You'll Need:

- Juiced lemon
- Juices of 1 navel orange
- 1-12 ounces of can perfect blood orange strawberry pear
- 12 ounces of juiced grapefruit
- 1 thinly slice lemon
- 1 thinly sliced lime
- ½ thinly sliced ruby red grapefruit
- 1 thinly sliced orange

Recipe:

- Citrus should be juiced and sliced.
- Combine all of these juices and serve with citrus produce.
- In a big pitcher, combine all of the ingredients.
- This combination can be chilled before serving.

6. Spritzer with Lemon and Berries - This refreshing drink is ideal for parties because it complements all sweet and salty celebration foods.

You'll Need:

-  A cup of strawberries (sliced)
- 1 sliced lemon
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla flavoured syrup
- 1 can of frozen lemonade concentrate
- 3 cans of berry sparkling water

Recipe:

- Place all of the sliced fruit at the bottom of the container.
- Fill the container halfway with vanilla syrup.
- Pour in a cup of lemonade juice.
- Fill the container halfway with the berry sparkling water.
- Cool the combination completely before serving.

7. Arnold Palmer's Slow Melt - This drink is an excellent method to stay cool on a hot day.

You'll Need:

- 16 ounces of fresh raspberries
- 24 ounces of lemonade
- 2 quarts of chilled brewed black iced tea

Recipe:

- Place one raspberry in each corner of a two-ice cube tray.  Fill each cube with lemonade and place it in the freezer.
- When serving, put four or more of these ice cubes in each container of iced tea.
