Laxmi Narasimhan’s professional profile reads him as an Industrial Engineer from College of Engineering , Guindy and PGDM from IIM Calcutta, PGP92. He is a consumer goods professional turned EIR with stints at Coca-Cola India, ITW Signode, TATA Motors and Diageo India. He jumped the corporate ship to partner PEs and strategic players in acquisition and turnround of assets in Alcoholic beverages domain and is credited with raising capital and bringing about  two back to back acquisitions. At work he is mimed for his pet peeve of chiding people  for not retaining and carrying forward institutional memory resulting in death and decay of marquee brands and businesses. Holding forth “The struggle of a man against persecution is the struggle of memory against forgetting”.

He comes from an Armed forces background, and a family in which education was not just the best option but the only option.. Siblings for who Amar Chitra Katha, Astreix, Indrajal and the likes became daily staple.

 Laxmi is married to Rachana who in his words is a comrade more than a wife. Telling him, if providence extends hand for a slam, try not to settle for a game.
